The Accounting & Operations Coordinator plays a key role at the intersection of finance, HR, and operations. This role will handle day-to-day accounting processes—such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations—while also supporting key administrative and people operations tasks like onboarding, travel coordination, and internal data upkeep.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance:

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices in coordination with our customer success and sales teams.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support month-end close and assist in preparing financial reports for leadership.
  • Partner with the finance team to improve accounting processes as we scale.

Operations & Administrative Support:

  • Maintain employee files and assist with HR documentation and compliance tracking.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth start for every team member.
  • Track and update employee policies, certifications, and training records.
  • Manage client contract data, keeping systems and documentation current.
  • Coordinate employee travel and booking logistics for meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Support general administrative and operations tasks as needed—jumping in wherever help is needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or operations finance (SaaS or tech industry a plus).
  • Working knowledge of invoicing, A/P, A/R, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude—ready to jump in and help where needed in a fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Ideally, previous exposure to HR administration or people operations.
