Senior Business Development Representative (BDR)

We’re expanding our Business Development Representative (BDR) team at Maptician! As a BDR, you’ll play a key role in driving growth by generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and scheduling product demos for our Account Executive (AE) team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and loves connecting with people. You’ll use your research, communication, and relationship-building skills to open doors with prospective clients and help them see the value of Maptician’s platform.

At Maptician, we’re transforming how organizations manage their workplaces with leading SaaS solutions for hybrid office management, space optimization, and conference room management. As part of our growth-focused sales team, you’ll be instrumental in driving our 2025-26 revenue goals by securing qualified demos and building strong, early-stage relationships with future customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Research and target accounts and decision-makers aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Create and personalize messaging for outreach campaigns to engage prospects effectively.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and schedule demos for Account Executives, ensuring all activity is accurately logged in the CRM (HubSpot).
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly demo booking goals.
  • Track and report activity, performance, and progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams on campaigns, events, and lead follow-up strategies.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of flexible work trends and the Maptician software platform to better engage prospects.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to successfully share our software platform with others, via strong presentation skills and general business acumen.
  • Two plus years of SaaS and/or inside sales experience.
  • Fluency with using CRM tools, preferably HubSpot, as your source of truth reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for achieving targets
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach to campaigns and outreach
  • Ideally, this position will be located in Lincoln, NE, however, for the right person we will consider hybrid/remote.
